Brand protection today is no longer just about judicial practice, full-scale technological effort to ensure the integrity of digital and offline marketplaces. Patent analytics in today’s environment of innovation-driven development in Russia is becoming a new driver of innovation management.
This opening session will outline the strategic objectives for patent analytics under the new conditions, present the framework of the "Russian Patent Analytics" system aligned with Russia’s technology development goals, and provide an in-depth analysis of industry-specific AI solutions with high technology readiness levels.
The session will also explore approaches to quantifying the economic value of patent analytics.
A special focus will be on an entirely new application of patent analytics: supporting complex patent examination processes and delivering real-time dashboards for top-level executives.

The second part of the section will cover new areas, tools, and application scenarios for patent analytics:
- the concept of regional and industry-wide patent research operator;
- scoring models for patent analytics and technological radars;
- fine-tuning of patent analytics for specific technology management tasks.

Traditionally, the section provides a block of partner competencies. Patent analysts from Russian organizations will present approaches and key results in evaluating ideas in relation to new products development, the engagement of industry experts to avoid bias industry analysis, and other important aspects of the actual application of patent analytics.
